Had a bad shopping experience in Egypt? Feel completely lost and with no support. Share your experience with us here!
Our mission:
- Expose all the shops, businesses and service providers that have a reputation for putting many people through disturbing or humiliating shopping experiences.
- Become a well-established reference of all the shops that everyone living/visiting Egypt should NOT shop at.
- When possible, we will contact the shops as a consumer rights group and let them know that there is a complaint against them, and ask them to resolve it.
- When do we stop? When all the shops in Egypt learn that they MUST respect and honour each and everyone of their customers.
Group Rules:
- You MUST name the shop and/or the people that were involved in your experience.
- DO NOT post hearsay. Only experiences that you have undergone personally, not those that were reported to you, or have heard from others.
- DO NOT share posts from your profile or other groups or pages, even if it is your story. Take the time to write a new post in the group.
- BE as detailed as possible. General posts of "this shop/product is not good" are useless and will not be approved.
- If the company/service provider requests to contact you to resolve the issue, than you MUST be willing to provide them with your details. Otherwise, your post will be deleted and you will be banned. Our aim is to make a change, not just complain.
- If there are any updates to your complaint, you MUST update the post by editing the actual post. If the post isn't updated within 24 hours, it'll be deleted and you will be banned from the group.
- 7. The shop MUST reside in Egypt.
- 8. Repeated spamming of a topic will be deleted.
- Advertising, foul language, irrelevant topics/comments, discriminatory comments, political and religious discussions, accusing or attacking members or undermining their opinions are not allowed. Offenders will be banned immediately and without a prior warning.
- If it is found out that the story is a lie or has fabricated content, not only will you banned from posting to the group, but you will be EXPOSED as a liar!
- If your complaint is related to a food product, you must write the name and address of the supermarket you bought it from.
- Posts with photos of employees or customers won't be allowed.
- Posting to blackmail companies and deleting the post after a complaint is resolved isn't accepted
- and members doing that will be banned.
